Welcome to Lovett Ceremonies web site. “My name is Mark Lovett and I am an ordained Interfaith Minister with The One Spirit Interfaith Foundation. If you are planning to mark one of life’s important milestone’s such as a Baby Naming Ceremony to welcome the newest addition to your family, an End of Life Celebration (Funeral) to celebrate the life lived by a loved one, a Wedding Celebration or a Vow Renewal, then I am delighted to be entrusted to create and perform a ceremony which captivates the essence of the love you and your partner share. “
“I believe a celebrant should be able to make such a connection with their client’s Love Story or Journey together. I specialise in the art of telling their Story. I love nothing more than finding out how my clients met for the 1st time and how they fell in Love and of course their reasons for choosing to get Married. A good ceremony should be full of Joy and Laughter and include the use of rituals to enhance the ceremony.”
Mark has travelled the length and breadth of the country to perform ceremonies. “I believe creating ceremonies is my true calling in life. As an Interfaith Minister, I am happy to work with any couple irrespective of your world view. I believe in Love and Love is our true essence. Whatever your belief system, we can create your ceremony to reflect your wishes all in the Spirit of Joy & Love.”

Outdoor Wedding Ceremonies
I can perform your ceremony just about anywhere once you have the landowner’s permission. Ireland has always been a top wedding destination for couples around the globe and the scenic outdoor option is a big favourite with Today’s couples.
We have performed ceremonies all over the country and even in people’s own homes and we love to work on these events closely with the couple in such fabulous & memorable locations. We recently had a ceremony on a Farm which turned out extremely memorable.
Outdoor wedding ceremonies are picturesque, timeless, rustic and very festive. Plus, they make for exceptional photographs.
Since marriage equality was established in Ireland, we now celebrate Marriage and not Same-Sex Marriage. We celebrate Love, that unifying universal and eternal force, which resides in us all.
Mark was delighted by Ireland’s unanimous decision to vote for same-sex couples for full Marriage Rights.
Create your very own wedding ceremony with Lovett Ceremonies, as we enjoy finding out what makes our couples unique and focusing around their perfect wedding ceremony.
This is a traditional Celtic ceremony which represents “Tying the knot”, or “Hand in Marriage”.
This form of ceremony symbolises the marriage represented by the knot and strengthening under pressure. Another wonderful opportunity for a photograph as some couples like to involve guests to tie a lovely ribbon to the chord which represents a blessing for the couple’s marriage.
Planning a trip to Ireland? Why not surprise your loved one with a vow renewal. Ireland is a fantastic place to renew your vows with wonderful venues and places steeped in history and culture. You can plan this event with Mark, he would be more than happy to accommodate your special request.
Wine Box & Love Letter Ceremony
Couples create their very own Romantic time capsule by writing a love letter to each other and sealing them into the wine box. The box is meant to be fully displayed in their home.
The couple decides to open the box, drink the wine and read the letters they have penned for each other on an anniversary of their choice.
Unity Candle Ceremony
The lighting of a unity candle is a very popular wedding ceremony enhancement.
At the beginning of the wedding ceremony, a representative from each family (usually the mothers of the bride and groom) light the two outer candles. Then the bride and groom use the two outer candles to light the centre unity candle together.
This symbolises the lighting of the flames of their hearts.
